Have a meaningful internship experience learning about the impact third-party organizations have in retail. Understand how JLB’s Sales and Account Management services provide industry-leading service & support to maximize business growth for manufacturers that sell to Target.
What will you do? You’ll partner with the Sales/Account Management team to drive vendor projects designed to grow sales and improve the guest experience while learning the product life cycle including brainstorming initial concepts, product development, in-store placement, and back-end support. You’ll be exposed to Mass Retail through various projects to ensure Target can maximize sales of identified promotions and programs. Last but not least, you’ll collaborate with other summer interns on a cross-functional project where you will be exposed to how we deliver the breadth of JLB’s services in a critical program for Target.
What skills do you need? We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, close attention to detail, business curiosity, and a passion for creative problem solving to provide insights, develop and execute promotions and in-line business that drives sales. Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office is important.
