What is Overnight Resident Assistant – Part Time?
The Overnight Resident Assistant supports the individual recovery goals of Vail House residents in coordinating services, such as crisis prevention and intervention, medication monitoring, attending to group supports, and independent goals. Vail House is staffed 24 hours a day and is an awake position.
Who Are You? Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
· One-year related experience or training in chemical dependency, mental health, and/or homelessness. Preferred experience working in a residential setting.
· Other experiences working, training, or supervising employees in human services roles will be considered in lieu of direct experience.
Work Environment: Keeping Staff and Residents Safe
Vail House is a Level IV Board and Lodging Facility serving 23 adults with a history of homelessness, mental illness, and/or chemical dependency in a communal setting. Vail House is staffed 24 hours a day and is an awake position.
In response to the COVID‐19 Pandemic, the Vail House Team has worked diligently to establish strong health and safety protocols for their community. Please note that working at Vail House does require direct face‐to‐face interactions with residents. Staff will be expected to follow Vail House protocols regarding COVID‐19 safety, including use of social distancing & personal protection measures while on shift.

Salary, Schedule and Benefits
$13.99/hour. $0.50 Shift Differential Rate for hours work between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Fridays and Saturdays 11:00pm to 7:00am.
