Founded in 1973, Wingspan Life Resources is a growing and dynamic nonprofit organization that provides services to people with developmental and other disabilities in 28 residential, a Crisis Respite Center, and an In-Home and Supported Employment programs throughout the Metro Twin Cities.

As an employee of Wingspan, you will be a part of one of the most respected organizations serving people with disabilities in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will provide support, training, and assistance to individuals in their homes, including personal care, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, recreational activities, meal preparation, personal hygiene, work and leisure activities, and financial responsibilities.
The DSP is an assistant to our clients with their daily routines, builds relationships, implements individual program plans, and performs other duties as necessary. The DSP is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each individual.
About the House:
This house has four women who enjoy art projects, ride the exercise bike, going to the gym, visiting the library, walks in the neighborhood, and local events. One resident has alone community time for walks. All residents are completely mobile.
The residents of this house have a pet dog (Pug) named Lily.
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
• Must be comfortable using a computer
• The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
• A valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
• The ability to have passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives is highly desired.
Sunday – Thursday – 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more are offered: Dental Insurance, PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and after a year of service, enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.
Employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more are offered: Mental and Dental Insurance, PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and after a year of service, enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.
